Are manually operated and have a removable glass panel. A pop-up will be your least expensive type of sunroof. This sunroof is typically installed in small to moderate size cars and is very popular in pickups. They are a flush-mount design, and when installed by wrapping the headliner, they give an original equipment appearance.

Are electrically operated sunroofs with one-touch operation. They also have an automatic close feature, which prompts the unit to self-close when the car is turned off. This type of sunroof is a mid-priced unit. Small to mid-size cars, pickups, and SUV's are the most common of candidates for this type of sunroof.
